FREE Shipping on orders over $250 for orders shipped within North America (excluding furniture, lighting and special orders)!
Packages will be shipped regular service unless box size requires Expedited.
If you require a package to be sent Express, please choose from the Postal Service options.

Notes on free shipping:
*** Free shipping only applies to the accessories in our webstore, not for furniture.
***No returns for refund if you use free shipping, only store credit is available.
*** For returns, customer pays return shipping (and replacement shipping if exchanging).
*** We are sorry we cannot accommodate International orders with free shipping.

Other shipping services:

Mjölk offers customers from around the world a self check out service for products listed on our online webstore. Mjölk has the right to refuse international orders, but we will do our best to facilitate them.

Mjölk packs and ships each order within 3 business days of purchase--usually same day but no packages are mailed on Saturday or Sunday. All lead times shown through the website are estimates through third party shipping company Canada Post, and Mjölk is not responsible for any delays. For customers who live outside of Canada, Mjölk is not responsible for any import taxes or duties imposed by the country of import.

Shipping includes handling fee. All cross border duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. 

The following information is from Canada Post:

Xpresspost parcels to the USA are guaranteed 2-3 business days to major cities, but may be a bit longer for destinations in rural areas.
Expedited parcels to the USA are guaranteed 4 business days to major cities, but may be a bit longer for destinations in rural areas.
Small Packet Air to the USA is in as little as 4 days but could be a week or more depending on destination. NO TRACKING, NO INSURANCE.

Xpresspost International is in as little as 4 days, but timing is not guaranteed. Small Packet Air International is in as little as 6 days but could be up to two weeks.

Website Pricing

There are items on the website that are grouped together (with varying sizes or styles) that may have different price points. The price shown on the main page will show the price of the item with the lowest price. Click on the pull down menu within the product page to see the prices of the other items in the group. We are sorry we cannot show an initial price range.

 

RETURN POLICY (online)

Returns are possible in the result of damaged, or defective merchandise only. These items will be replaced with the identical item as soon as we get a replacement, any other returns will be handled on a case by case basis. Mjölk has the right to refuse a refund on any basis other than the ones listed above.

Customer is responsible for return shipping and replacement shipping, as well as duties and taxes that may incur.

 ***No returns for refund if you use free shipping, only store credit is available.

RETURN POLICY (in store)

Mjölk hopes you fall in love with all of our products, but we understand that something you may purchase from our showroom may not work the same way you have envisioned for your home. Mjölk offers a 48 hour return policy for all non made-to-order products. If item is brought back damaged or mounted Mjölk has the right to refuse refund. Materials such as wood or concrete may have natural inconsistencies in grain or pattern and is not the basis of a legitimate return. Final sale and floor model sale items cannot be returned. Quickship items are subject to a 20% restocking fee if cancelled after 2 days from the date of purchase.

Gifts: If item is a gift please let the sales representative know, so they can adjust the possible return policy. All items must be brought back in original condition with all original packaging, and can be returned for a store credit.

Pricing: Mjölk reserves the right to adjust prices on the website or in the showroom without prior notice.

 

Made to Order

Deposit: Made to order pieces require a 50% paid deposit upon order. There is a 24-hour grace period where the buyer can cancel the order at no cost. After 24 hours the deposit is non-refundable.

Lead time: Typical lead times for made to order pieces can change between 8 – 12 weeks, please ask your sales representative for lead times for specific items. Mjölk is not responsible for any delays in production, shipment or customs. Please remember that these items are shipping from far away, and are mostly sent via sea, which takes approximately one month, on top of production time.

Variations: Upholstered items and carpets are produced in different dye cycles, which means the same sofa in the same upholstery can be visually different. Materials such as wood or concrete may have natural inconsistencies in grain or pattern. Mjölk is not responsible for textile and natural variations.

Delivery: When custom furniture arrives at the Mjölk showroom, the customer has a responsibility to pick-up or arrange delivery of the item within 5 days of arrival. A 5% holding fee will be applied for items not picked up after 7 days and for every week thereafter until item is picked-up.
