These sake vessels are made by Hokkaido based artist Kota Fukunaga.

Kota-san hand turns solid logs of birch wood on a lathe from birch bark on the base to exposed wood on the top. This reveals beautiful and complex layers.

Each piece is finished with a coat of water based resin which is food safe and protects the wood from moisture.

Please hand wash.
